An oasis in Dry January

Well another WONDER event went off with a bang on 26th January 2019 at Cambridge University Centre. Just over 150 people attended the third ever WONDER and from what we can tell everyone really enjoyed themselves. We've created a feedback form which can be found at the bottom of our homepage. If you came we'd really love to know what you thought. Lisa and Suzie want to thank everyone for making WONDER such a magical experience! Without you and your enthusiasm, support and happiness it really wouldn’t be so special. We are grateful to everyone who took part, laughed, connected and made their presence known. How beautiful an atmosphere it was, unhindered by substances we don’t need, all being free to be our true wonderful selves!

Kwali Kumara's Kundalini Yoga Class

We (Suzie and Lisa) worked hard to produce and enjoy WONDER. We put together a unique programme led by incredible yoga teachers, performers and artists. We really feel honoured to have worked with such inspiring and creative people. WONDER is a journey into the unknown for us. There are no words to describe the feeling that was created between everyone on the day, both in the yoga space, in the bar and on the dancefloor. It wasn’t just that alcohol was absent. It was so much more than that. It was about properly connecting with ourselves, feeling deep peace within and with others, being free to express ourselves without fear or judgement. A beautiful, safe space to be.

So what happens now? We will stop for a short while to review the first 3 WONDERS! This is a mission of love for us, we are passionate about continuing to grow WONDER with the people who have come on this journey with us. We will be working out what works for you, what works for us, what direction we will take and we need your help to do this!

Most of you who stayed to dance also had a nourishing massage by Tania or Helen. We are so lucky to have these amazing women on the WONDER journey with us. Many of you told them you would like to have another massage outside of WONDER so do please feel free to contact WONDER so we can pass your enquiry on to Helen or Tanya.

Kwali also offered her Kundalini meditations for your life in 2019 so if you would like to connect with dear Kwali. You can find out more about her classes in London here

Our other yoga teacher Jo Darking led a beautiful yoga session. If you would like to go to Jo’s class she runs a beautiful yoga and well-being centre in Cambridge called Satyam. If you’re interested in taking up Kundalini Yoga then you’ll find there’s a class at Satyam on a Monday evening with Lizzie Cutmore (you’re also more than likely to bump into us!).

We look forward to seeing you at the next WONDER - follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you're kept in the loop the minute we have news of a forthcoming event.
